Taking off! Aces of Thunder is out now!

Experience aerial combat like never before! Aces of Thunder is a VR flight simulator with stunning visuals optimized for the latest VR headsets and unmatched immersion. The game allows you to experience realistic air combat both with and without VR equipment.
Fly legendary aircraft from the First and Second World War: from the Spitfire and Mustang to the Bf 109 and Fw 190. Take control of the powerful Yak‑9T, the famous IL‑2 “flying tank” attack aircraft, the nimble A6M3 Zero, as well as Great War icons like the Fokker Dr.I and SPAD S.XIII. All aircraft feature authentic flight and damage models, with highly detailed cockpits and armament.
Online battles take you to key theaters of war, from Western and Eastern Europe to the Pacific across 15 atmospheric maps. Engage in intense online duels against pilots from around the world, play through the “War Tales”, or hone your skills in single player missions, inspecting your aircraft in the hangar between sorties.
Aces of Thunder is available in two editions: Standard and Deluxe. If you purchase the Standard edition, you can upgrade to Deluxe later.
Until February 10, both versions of Aces of Thunder are 10% off!
The Deluxe Edition, in addition to the base game, includes five extra aircraft:
- F4U‑4 — a single‑seat fighter developed in the mid‑1940s, offering higher speed and altitude performance than earlier F4U variants. This modification saw combat in the final phase of World War II in 1945.
- Spitfire Mk Ia — one of the most successful aircraft in history and a symbol of the war, particularly thanks to its effectiveness against the Luftwaffe during the Battle of Britain and beyond. Its main advantage is an exceptionally tight turning radius, allowing pilots to draw opponents into a turning fight and win.
- Hurricane Mk IV — the ground‑attack variant of the single‑engine Hawker Hurricane fighter. Entered RAF service in spring 1943, featuring a redesigned wing.
- SBD‑3 — the workhorse of the US Navy, serving as the primary carrier‑based dive bomber from 1940 through late 1944. The SBD fought in many Pacific battles; one of its most notable successes was sinking the Japanese carrier Shōhō during the Battle of the Coral Sea in May 1942.
- P‑40E‑1 — an American World War II fighter developed by Curtiss‑Wright. The P‑40E‑1 excels as a boom‑and‑zoom fighter‑bomber.
